Important Covid-19 Information

Visitation Hours and Guidelines - Updated 7/24/2020 (printable)

As an Adult Home licensed by New York State Department of Health, Countryside Home is following DOH guidance on how to address the global epidemic of COVID-19.

It's through this guidance that the residents and staff have been having temperature monitoring and screening questions done each day.

The facility is closed to all non-essential visitors; we do still continue to have weekly provider visits as well as telehealth services.

Our staff is dedicated to both the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents so we continue to involve the residents in daily activities while adhering to social distancing.

We are committed to sharing information for the good of all public health but we must adhere to the privacy of our residents and staff.

At this time we are happy to report no cases at CSAH of COVID-19. Updates will be given as situations may evolve in the coming future.

Any questions can be directed to Amy McByrne - Director of Countryside Adult home by calling the facility at 518-623-3451.

Countryside Adult Home is a 48 bed, public, non-profit home for adults in Warrensburg, New York.

Our mission is to provide quality compassionate long-term residential care in a comforting, serene and pastoral mountain setting for residents who do not require skilled nursing services.

For over Half a Century we have been serving the long-term care needs of Warren County.

We provide room and board, personal care assistance, meal preparation, and twenty-tour (24) hour supervision.

We take great pride in our staff who are caring, compassionate and dedicated professionals serving the elderly. Most of our employees have been with us for many years. They have made their careers a life-long calling of serving and caring for the elderly.

These traits of dedication to caring and longevity of employment are rare in today's world of senior care where turnover rates often exceed 50% and caregivers are often nothing more than job-hoppers going from one job to another, often in different and unrelated fields.

Not at Countryside.

Most of our staff have been with us for 10 years and some as long as 30. They have made caring for the elderly their life-long mission.

Furthermore, our staffing ratios are among the highest in the field, often with 1 care aide for every 6 residents.

The staff at Countryside create an atmosphere of compassion and caring for your loved one and an emotional comfort and peace of mind for you, all from knowing that a caring, conscientious and dedicated professional is always there to meet our resident's needs.

Your loved one has all the comforts of home and you have peace of mind.

We are owned and operated by Warren County and we admit, subject to eligibility, without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin.
